Family business since 1963, Litière Ouellet was known as Tourbière Ouellet. The peat exploitation in Isle-Verte, Bas-Saint-Laurent (Québec) was the center of its activity but over the years, it diversifies. Transport of its bulk product with trailers equipped of mobile floors and sale of bedding for farm animals are now part of it. In 2003, the third generation of the family took the lead and continues these activities while developing new animal bedding products for farmers and for equestrian’s farms owners.
